FCC provided Construction Management services for this beautiful home studio.

The studio is built on split level bearer and joist configuration. The interior spaces included custom wood-paneled floorboards, interior connecting stairs, custom decks, and beautiful finishing throughout. The design incorporates diffused natural light which is ideal for sewing and the building was positioned to take advantage of the tranquil leafy setting.

We put in a lot of care & thought regarding the function of the studio with customised storage closets for filing fabric incorporating shelves with pull-out basket drawers as well as shallow drawers for scraps. A sturdy sewing table to reduce wobble & bounce as you sew with a built-in drop-down section and fold-out extensions for sewing large items.
